Writing about a bug? Tell us your iPhone model and iOS version (Settings → General → About) and what you were doing when it happened. It roughly halves the time to a fix.

Common questions

Do I have to start a timer or tag anything?

No. That is the whole point. TempusBack reads what your iPhone already records (screen time, places, sleep and activity, calendar) and builds the audit by itself. You open the app and the week is already there.

Does it block apps or lock me out?

No, and it never will. TempusBack doesn't block anything: it shows you why you'd want to. If you need a blocker, there are good ones; this is the app that tells you what to point them at.

Where does my data go?

Nowhere. There is no account, no server and no database. Everything is read and analysed on your iPhone and stays there, including the AI insights, which run on Apple's on-device models. The App Store privacy label says Data Not Collected. The privacy policy spells out exactly what that means.

Why does it ask for Screen Time, Location, Health and Calendar?

Each one is a different slice of the same day. Screen Time says what took your hours; coarse location tells home from work so blocks can be labelled; Health supplies sleep and activity so the day has a beginning and an end; Calendar shows what you had planned, to compare against what happened.

All four are optional. Refuse one and you lose that slice of the picture, not the app. You can change your mind any time in iOS Settings. The paths are listed in the privacy policy.

Which iPhones does it work on?

TempusBack requires iOS 26 or later. The audit, the leaks, the trends and the weekly plan work on any supported iPhone.

The AI-written verdict needs an Apple Intelligence capable device (iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 16 or later) with Apple Intelligence switched on. On every other iPhone the app generates the same audit and plan using its own algorithms, on device. Apple Intelligence also rolls out on different schedules in different countries, so it can be unavailable for a while even on supported hardware.

What does it do to my battery?

TempusBack is built to stay cheap: it uses cell and Wi-Fi positioning rather than continuous GPS, and runs its analysis while your phone is idle and charging rather than in the middle of your day. If you ever see it high in Settings → Battery, tell us: that's a bug, and we want it.

How do I cancel my subscription?

On your iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → TempusBack → Cancel Subscription. You keep access until the end of the period you already paid for. Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription, and we cannot cancel it for you: Apple doesn't give developers that ability.

Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. Full detail in the terms.

I bought it before / got a new phone. How do I get it back?

Open the app and use Restore Purchases, signed in with the same Apple Account you bought it with. Subscriptions and the lifetime unlock both restore this way.

Your audit history is a different matter: it lives on the device, so a new phone starts fresh unless you restored it from an encrypted iCloud device backup. We have no copy to send you. That is the cost of having no servers.

How do I delete my data?

Clear your history from inside the app's settings, or delete the app and iOS removes its container and everything in it. There is nothing to request from us and nothing for us to erase on our side, because we never had it.

Is there an Android or web version?

No. TempusBack is built on Apple's Screen Time, Health and on-device AI frameworks, and the product would be a different, weaker thing without them. iPhone only, for now.

Something looks wrong in my audit.

Send it to us. The signals the audit is built from are imperfect (a long train ride can look like work, a phone left on a desk can look like leisure), and specific examples are how the categorisation gets better. A screenshot and the day it happened is enough.
